FAQ

How it Works
AMS relies on server side includes to call the scripts that place and track the banner bars. A short piece of code is inserted into the pages where you would like banners displayed.

Web Based Controls
Setting up advertisers and generating reports are easy tasks with the AMS password-protected online control panels.

Flexible Assignment of Ads
AMS allows you to assign different ads to different pages, make groups that can be assigned to different pages, and even exclude ads from certain pages.

Attributes for each image call
Define the attributes of each image with customized ALT, WIDTH, HEIGHT, BORDER and other attributes, adding flexibility to the size and type of banners you can accept.

Use Banners or HTML Fragments
Beyond displaying simple banners, AMS allows you to have interactive banners (such as Shockwave or Java) or any other type of web content displayed as an ad.

Allows Mixing with Ad Networks
Because AMS can handle HTML fragments, you can incorporate ad networks as part of your advertising pool. The ad network ads will simply be counted as one of your banners.

Ad Duration Control
Within the administration panel of AMS, you can set an advertiser's ad to expire after a pre-set number of exposures, click-thrus, or days/months.

Reporting Control
In addition to supplying you with complete statistics on an ad's performance (exposures, click-thrus and the ratio of the two), AMS also allows you to grant individual advertisers access to their reports. This is also password protected to ensure confidentiality.

Remote Serving of Banner Bars
If you run two or three (or more) web sites on different servers, you can use AMS to control the displaying of adbars on all of them. Create your own banner network!
