First deployed in summer of 1996 on a half-dozen beta sites, Radiation AMS has gone through numerous revisions, reworks and improvements.

AMS Version History

• Version 2.1 (06/22/98): integration of self installer code making installation much easier for webmasters.

• Version 2.0 (04/03/98): development of NT version, streamlining of code.

• Version 1.9 (08/20/97): further refining of rules code.

• Version 1.8 (05/21/97): integration of HTML fragment ad support for complex banners and banner networks.

• Version 1.7 (01/12/97): base code enhancement to support placement across multiple domain names on a single server; minor interface changes.

• Version 1.6 (11/06/96): inclusion of "NOT" rules for page exclusion.

• Version 1.5 (10/15/96): addition of IMG "extra" and "alt" attributes for each advertiser.

• Version 1.4 (10/05/96): modifications to code base for Netscape server compatibility, expansion of statistics module to allow individual advertiser access.

• Version 1.3 (08/15/96): integration of CGI and non-referer calls to AMS to increase platform compatibility.

• Version 1.2 (08/05/96): initial AMS package released to beta sites.
