Installing the self-installing version of HyperThread can be handled by most semi-technical webmasters; however, a basic understanding of UNIX or Windows NT and the layout of your server will certainly make the process easier.
The installer will guide you through the process, but we recommend you read through this guide at least once before attempting the install so you will know what lies ahead.
Before running the self-installer you will need to know how to access your copy of Perl. Since the location differs from service to service, we recommend you contact your system administrator to get this information. You should also be familiar with the location of your cgi-bin directory.
