Links from inside your website are separated by LinkTrakker into an "Internal" link report, a useful tool for tracking people moving within your webpages. Since LinkTrakker can be used across multiple websites and domain names, "Internal" is calculated from the valid URL list you defined in the Admin panel.
Some webmasters use LinkTrakker to analyze such "Internal" links. By utilizing LinkTrakker on an important interior page of the website (such as a subscription form, an ordering form, or a help page), you can track where in your website people are finding this page (and adjust how you promote or link services inside your site).
LinkTrakker's spider does not attempt to verify links identified as being "Internal" (to avoid unnecessary system load on your machine).
