Integrating LinkTrakker into other CGI programs is as easy as having those other programs include the LinkTrakker JavaScript with the HTML they output. For example, with our HyperThread discussion engine you could include the LinkTrakker JavaScript in the design template for your BBS.
If for some reason you need to integrate LinkTrakker with other CGI programs without JavaScript, LinkTrakker includes a non-CGI version (that can be called as an outside system call) that makes it easy for you to add incoming hyperlink tracking to these scripts, allowing LinkTrakker to treat "distinct script URLs" as if they were "distinct pages".
WARNING! All this assumes that you (1) are a programmer or (2) are going to have a programmer generate these modifications to your scripts. We do not recommend modifying shareware or freeware to work with LinkTrakker, and most software licenses, including LinkTrakker's, do not include the right to modify the program's source code. We will not assist you in modifying third party software.
