Guide to Verified Links
The LinkTrakker spider grabs each page identified as containing an incoming hyperlink to your website, attempting to verify that link. URLs that pass this spider validation are classified as "Verified Links" - these pages really do have links pointing back to your website (or at least they did when the spider came to their Website).
Sometimes, a link is really there but doesn't pass the verification (such as a rotating banner bar or other dynamic link that is "sometimes there, but not always"). These links are classified as "Unverified".
