Certain directories and files must be present in your untarred version of Personals/Classifieds in order for it to function properly. The list is as follows:
Directories:
personals_classifieds Contains all of the files and subdirectories listed below when you unpack the archive file.
db - The database files are created here.
html - The html template files are stored here.
images - The Personals/Classifieds images are stored in this subdirectory.
Files:
add_group.pl - Script for adding a group/topic to the PCAS.
change_admin.pl - Script for emergency administrator login repair. (in the event that the admin forgets the login ID and password)
check_replies.cgi - Script for users to check for and read replies to their personal/classified ad postings.
clear_posts.pl - Script for deleting all postings from a specified user.
configure.tmpl - Template file used by the installation script.
convert.pl - Used only to convert OLD Personals/Classifieds databases that do not contain year information
del_group.pl - Script for deleting a group/topic from the Personals/Classifieds system.
encrypt.pl - Routines used for registration tracking
init.pl - For those who prefer a manual installation, this initializes the databases. The self-installer does all of this.

license.txt - Radiation software license agreement.
pc-admin.cgi - administration panel.
pc.cgi - The personals/classifieds front-end program.
radthread-admin.pl - administration module.
radthread-headers.pl - shared definitions module.
radthread-help.pl - help module.
radthread-msgs.pl - message and area handling module.
radthread-search.pl - search module.
radthread-utils.pl - shared utilities.
register.pl - Registration program - converses with Radiation registration server
retriever.pl - Spider routines used by registration program
RCGI.pm - CGI processing routines
areas.db - The areas database.
dates.db - The dates database (for storing area date information).
general.db - The general area, created as a default when the system is installed.
cr_template.html - The check replies system template (layout).
guide.html - The help guide template file.
menu.html - extra text that can be defined for the discussion menu page. Any html text defined here is included at the top of the menu page.
template.html - The system template (layout).
